what a day :D

hi everyone,
i just took my stereo system out of my car. I had two 15"subs and a 1000watt amp and man let me tell ya, after taking them out the car feels sooooooo much lighter and faster........infact, as me and my bro are coming back home on the highway today after some shoe shopping we passed this new (98-04) mustang GT that was entering the highway. it floored it to catch up to us and was wanting to overtake but as soon as he got to my rear bumper I floored it and I was right next to him for all of 2nd gear until I hit third and maaaaaan let me tell ya I pulled on him easily and really fast. by the end i musta had like 10-15 car lengths on him The stang even had a twin exhaust setup, that i know for sure, but i don't know what else it had. Hoo, i'm so hyped coz its my first new mustang GT kill

yes, yes it is
I love the look of the stangs and the interior but they could really do with a bit more power under the hood. But, at least they survived while camaro's got the axe in the end

Re: what a day :D

The newer mustang GT's are pretty quick... I had a 2003 Mustang GT that was even automatic that smoked alot of shit... the only race I ever lost was to a NOVA that smoked me by like 30 car lengths lol... I beat a 98 stick camaro... but also about 20 mins after the race his car over heated and he was stuck on the freeway lol.... so I figured that one was in my favor due to luck... ANY HOW I agree with zwrangler they could use work on the interior and just a lil bit more boost under the hood

hey, hey, now. the maro's coming back in 2007 (as an 08 model). i hope that GM doesn't rape it like they've done w/ the other reproduction models. atleast it's going to be rear-wheel drive, though. always a plus
