Theft system light on , no theft sysytem
i have a '97 Sunfire and i recently noticed when i started up my car the the Theft System light came on; i thought about it shut off my car then started it back up and the light turned off. This has only happened to me twice and dosnt seem to cause any problems with anything, but i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if i should be worried about something happening down the line. Thanks.

i would unplug the battery for like 1 min, i think that should re set your computer

yeh.... im about to answer my own question apparently the theft light coming on was because i am having the same problem many others are with there passlock system. My cars theft system recently started causeing me not to be ablt to start my car so i gotta get that fixed, thanks for the sugestion though.
