the biggest problem would be because Honda transversely mounts all their engines to make the cars smaller, so it'd be kinda awkward to make one.

I really think the first person to do a practical affordable awd civic is gonna be quite popular thats maybe the only thing thatI havent seen done to daily driven civics. props to anyone who trys

In Japan there are 4WD versions of Civics and Integras.

But theyre not performance orientated, just for more traction.

They look the same as regular FWD cars except they have slightly higher ground clearance.

Because of the 4WD they are also heavier and are not available on the top models, only on lower powered ones

The Prelude came with 4WS (4 wheel steering) not AWD.

There was a station wagon Civic (forget what year) that was AWD.

RWD Hondas:
S2000, NSX, TL (I'm sure)

AWD Hondas:
CRV, old Civic station wagon, Passport, MDX

The NSX is mid-engined RWD. THere was a civic in the mid 80's that had 4wd.

An AWD or 4WD Civic would just be plain STUPID!
Civics are ment to be lightweight with a little engine.
If you add 4WD or AWD the car will be so heavy it'll take 1 min to get from 0-60 mp/h.

but think of the hook-up? anyone have anymore info on the jdm 4wd civics is it possible to get a drive train into north Amerrica? I wanna know if it can handle an H22a, its probably the dinky crap that comes on the crv
