Swapping DIC

I have a 98 GT and I want to swap my regular DIC for a digital one. I am wondering how to remove the old DIC. Do I have to take the whole dash off? I don't need any wiring instructions (yet), I just want to know how to take it out. Thanks.

Well, just take out the facia that covers the dic, radio and A/C controls. Then pull the DIC, it is held in place by 2 or 3 clips. I do not remember correctly.

yeah, 2 screws to remove the bottom kickplate panel just above the brake, gas pedals. then pull straight out on the bezel. DIC then snaps out.
