Gear swap

Looking to put 4.56 gears in my tahoe. where can i find some directions how ? ive done gear swaps in some fords but not any chevys. Im not really sure what the differances would be. also will i have any problems going from a 3 series carrier to the 4 series.?

I guess if you go to a 4 series, you would have to change the carrier and bearings, however I believe "Jeg's" or "Summit" sells 4.56 gears for a 3 series carrier.
