Do anyone know about emission control system? In our state we have to take our car service for emission, and our car failed the (evaporative emission control system) and also (evaporative emission control system vent control circuit). We have no idea what to fix so that we can pass the emission test. We dont want to spend a lot of money on a mechanic and then find out it was something very simple that i could of done.

not sure about nissan but Honda cars have 8/80 warranty on emission system.
check your warranty manual.

I got the same problem with my 1989 accord in NJ, did you find anything out?
