Unhappy 97 SL2 Won't Start When Hot

The subject says it all, almost.

When the key is turned, the starter doesn't do anything. No attempt to start what-so-ever. Getting hot includes sitting in the sun in a parking loy all day while at work. When SOMETHING cools down the engine will repeatedly start.

Some local friendly advice-givers have suggested the EGR valve or the crankshaft or camshaft position sensors. Don't know anything about these sensors or where they're located.

Any comments or suggestings would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx !!

Check all your fuses. Check fuses under dash in engine compartment and then check the wiring from the battary to the selinoid to the starter see if it's cracked melted see if it's loose metal expands when it's hot so on. If that dont work go to your local dealership and ask a few questions at the service department they always know what's wrong. loluck
