Re: Horespower V6

Stock, the car dyno's at ~180whp. All motor, you may get around 230whp-235whp without going inside the engine. That is with either RippMods or Hy-Tech's headers, SAFC II or SAFR, CAI, Grounding Kit, Cat-Back exhaust, Hi-Flow cat, Firm Motor mounts, and lots and lots of tuning. That is what the D3 Designs race car puts down and those are their mods.

All in all, it may have cost them around $3000 for all that, including the tuning.

If you really want to get crazy, go talk to RPW in Australia and they will hook you up high high compression pistons, rods, even individual throttle body's. That is quite a bit more expensive though.

I've seen stock gt's dyno at 130-150 whp. Gts would be higher but i really dont think it would go to ~180 whp with everything stock.

There arent any best kits, (if you look around this forum u'll find that some1 asked this quastion 3 times in past 2 days.)

There are 1 or 2 decent kits, but best way to go is custom.
