Re: new Italeri kit?

The kit is identical to the one by ROG apart from the wheels (which don't look good in either of the kits) - both are Protar models, btw.

Alex you are quicker then me, Protar it is by the way few more interesting from Italeri, Lancia Delta Integrale (rally) and Fiat 131 (rally) again re pack but who cares, the more you have to chose from is better.

Re: new Italeri kit?

The general opinion of the knowledgeable population is that the Delta is a big no-no as it's also a Protar kit and is pretty bad. I don't remember what has been said about the Fiat.

So in other words, forget and go and buy yourself a Hasegawa kit right?

Well now, thats not entirely true.

1. Tamiya has BMW S18i, Z3, SLK230, Lorinser SEC500, 600S AMG coupe S600 sedan, SL500/SL500 AMG, Porsche Boxster, 996/coupe/drop top so you can see they have quite a few.

There are no such things as SLK600 or CLK600, but CLK is reproduced in the DTM form. X5 is a truck and thus would not be of interest to Tamiya

But, yes I do wish that Tamiya or anyone else made more European models of performance cars.

If that Fiat 131 is a re-pack of the old Esci kit, I'll definitely buy it!
At least I don't know any other 1/24 Fiat 131 kits.
