it would be waaaaaaaaaaay too loud. you would have more money in tickets in a month than you have into the car. just get a decent system and hook it up, you can do it for less than a grand.

and by the way, the system you're talking about is commonly known as being a hack.

Re: exhaust

anything but flows man, sooo many people have them, i personally got mac pro-dumps with 2.5 inch piping, but turndowns arent for everybody, there is a lot of interior noise(like bass without the music). and it shakes stuff inside the car like loose change in your console, i personally like it, but definately not for everybody.

Re: exhaust

i have an x pipe without cats on my car and it is almost too loud, i would go with a catalytic crossover and some dumps do sound pretty good.

Re: exhaust

Just remember that dumps are not legal in all states, and some states will require tail pipes or exhaust that exits after the rear tires to pass inspection.

Re: exhaust

i really cant feel that much of a difference with the pro-dumps, it sounds great and all but its the only thing i have done to my car so i dont feel much. if i did headers and high-flow h-pipe i know there would be a more noticeable feel and sound.

Re: exhaust

If you want to run straight pipes then do it from the conv. back or it will be way too loud. Flow m. are played out big time. That is why I just cut off my mufflers and put some nice stainless steal out the back. It aint for everyone though its just my personal taste.

Go ahead and tell me it sounds like crap high flow5.0 lol
