Talking 2.2L to 4.3L NEED INFO PLEASE!

I want to start my conversion...

I just bought a 97 S-10 2.2L 5spd. with 15,000 miles on it. It is the stepside bed and regular cab, brown. I bought this truck for a steal at 5200$ Came with 16" centerline's, lowered 2", and Heart-throb mild dual exhaust It looks like this truck used to be a show truck. I has holes for the air compressor in the bed and it had a couple tv's hooked up (put in a new radio and had to take out LOTS of usless wires)

I knew when i bought it that i would be swapping the engine and making it custom. I was just starting to look into it... I'm kicking myself because about a month ago i saw a 4.3 vortec with 200hp, not "W" code, with the 5 speed trans. It came out of a wrecked 02 s-10 with 10,000 miles. Had all the ECU wires, belts, starter........everything. It sold for 2500$$. I beleive this is the kit I am looking for...wish i would have bought it when i had the chance!

I was wondering if this is the kit i need... Or would it be ok to just buy the 4.3 engine and use the 2.2 trans??

I wanted to know what i need to look for to complete this swap right. If ANYONE knows ANYTHING about this swap or has a good link with information, i would greatly appriciate it.
ANY information is appriciated, I want to do a good amount of research before i start spending money on something i know nothing about.
Thanks!!!

Find a donor truck and get everything you need. Motor mounts and wiring harness. Take the tranny too.
Get the exhaust manifolds and y pipe.

suspension!!! dont neglect the front suspension, the 4.3 is larger than the 2.2, so you might want to look into the front susoension, also make sure you have all the harnesses. it can be a bitch to find some wiring arnesses...

yeah i looked into the wiring harness amd its pretty expensive... I would definatly find a engine with the wiring harness and ecu. I just don't know if i could use the trans.... because it's really hard to find a manual 4.3L tranny. they are all the automatics that came with the blazers. I'm Looking into the front suspension now....cause i just got 20's... but the engine should be on it's way soon.
