airbag warning light

Hi all, I have a 2000 Yukon SLT and I hit a bump last week. Now my airbag warning light stays on, it went off for a few days but now it's back. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have heard that same situation before, but never experienced it first-hand.

Most likely, if it was caused by the bump, you have a front impact sensor that is no good.

Either way you need to get the code read that set it, and let us know.

Hope we can help.

hi i'm new here but i also have a 2000 slt i've found my airbag light comes on when we adjust the lumbar support. i believe the lumbar is pushing on the wires to the side airbags. just my uneducated guess.
