Out with the F20A4 in with the H22A

I have a 4th Gen UK Prelude with the Honda F20A4 engine, I'm looking at sticking in an H22A engine (From another 4th Gen UK Prelude) - Has anyone done the same sort of thing??

What do I need to change? What do I need to add?

I've been told it's pretty simple, change the engine, use the same loom but use the ECU from the VTEC model and add 4 wires - Any ideas?

Re: Out with the F20A4 in with the H22A

I've heard the f20 to h22 is a little more complicated. Your thinking of the h23 to h22 which is relatively simple.

Re: Out with the F20A4 in with the H22A

That all depends - The F20A4 engine (In the UK and Europe) is a 2.0 SOHC, with the same footprint as the H22A.

The wiring loom is the same (In fact, the wiring is there for everything, from looking at the Prelude FAQ for this it I have that connector for the VTEC).

From looking at it the only I'd have to change is the flanges on my exhaust so that it connects to the H22A downpipe.
