idlering down and cutting off after truck is start

hello ,
I have a toyota 1990 4runner that keep idlering down then it cut off after I start my truck.I have to turn up the idle screw then it will stay on. Can I do some damage if I keep turning it up like that?Because it goes down by it self. I also had a timming belt put on and now they said that my idler pully is noisey and tensioner 2.0. and it will need to be replace soon.Then when I pull off it starts to spurder.I had went to so many places and they can`t find out what is going on.

For what its worth I had this problem a few months back. I banged on the oxygen sensor with a hammer to knock the carbon deposits off. Then I ran feul injector cleaner for the next few tanks. Idle is ok now.
