HEI Dist. Cap ?

I recently bought a 1979 camaro z28 for a couple hundred $$, it was Missing all the plug wires. I bought new ones, but now I need to know whitch terminal is #1. (already know firing order, and I dont realy want to do the timing the hard way).

if the dist. is where it's supposed to be, the #1 terminal should be closest to the air cleaner

the owner of the z died about 4 years ago and has been sitting in the same spot ever since, i guess someone decided they needed them more than he did
