does any body race rangers?
my brother always makes fun of me for wanting to fix up my ranger and just make it go fast! am I crazy for wanting to do this or is my brother just dumb? hopefully its my brother.

well what truck do you have.what motor. some motors can be modified to be very fast.if you have the 3.0l in a 4x4 your brother might be right. not many hp upgrades and a heavy truck dont go fast. a 4cyl in a 2wd can be heavilly modified te be fast

i have a 2000 ranger ext. cab xlt 2wd 3.0 v6 engine but i want to swap it out with something bigger, do you have any suggestions on upgrades, and whats the best exhaust system to you use? i just want to make my little truck faster.

they make a conversion kit to install the 5.0 in rangers. a junkyard 5.0 would give you the computer and all the sensors for a reasanble price! you could rebuild it if you want or if you got money summit racing sells a 375hp version of this motor.
