96 GA audio system help

i got 2 12 inch subs in a box. how would i go abouts adding it into my current stock 96 ga gt 4 door sedan stero system? does my car have a amp i could use for the subs or do i gotta buy a new one? im a newbie on car audio =\. i need instructions that someone who has never done it before would understand.

First off, your stock stereo system doesn't have an amp. Even if it did, I would not suggest connecting 2 12" subwoofers to it.

You should buy an amp that can handle your subwoofers. What kind of woofers and what is the watt rating on them? RMS and Peak. You can link to where ever you got them, or just tell us the brand name and model it is.

Example: 12" VOLFENHAG ZX-4700 SERIES DVX SUBWOOFER

This subwoofer would have "1000 WATTS peak / 500 RMS"

I would suggest taking the easy way out and having a place like best buy or something install the amp and subwoofers for you. If you don't know the first thing about doing this stuff, the end result will most likely be really bad.
