Apexi mufflers

Im looking for an N1 muffler in black, but I cant find anything under 200 bucks. Does anyone know of a site that has them for sale at a good price. Also does the WS or WSII muffler only come as a catback? If it doesnt anyone know were i can just get the muffler?

Re: Apexi mufflers

mufflers by themselves dontr add shit for power and just make your car sound loud..even the higher end ones such as an apexi...basically save your money and buy a fawkin cat-back and do it right...if your to cheap to pay the going rate of what your looking at then just dont get it..buy some other cheap junk knock-off..either way its not a cat-back and that is what you need to be looking at

Apexi WS2 comes in catback only. you might as well get a cat-back system for full benefit. the stock pipes will be the bottle neck if you get rear muffler only. Apexi universal $215.95 at summitracing.com

if price is concern i would go with Magnaflow stainless mufflers or catback.

Freeflow mufflers on non turbos, gain topend power but lose some lower end torque.

Re: Apexi mufflers

Thanks guys. But since I have a Grand AM no one makes a cat back for my car, especially Apexi. I just wanted the muffler so I could put it on some 2.25inch piping and do a down pipe back exhaust.

I’m not looking for some crappy eBay muffler, that’s why I'm asking about Apexi mufflers. I’m willing to pay the price for one but I feel that a reasonable price for an N1 would be about 200 shipped.

try Borla out? they make lots of catbacks for non popular tuner cars Flowmaster or Dnyomax or Borla or Magnaflow etc etc mufflers and mandel bent piping would work.
I think the APEXI is a bit whiny to me and on a grandam would not look right at all.

Re: Apexi mufflers

yea but magnaflow and flowmaster and the like are baffled and not straight through like apexi. and i know borla makes a catback, but its $600 and its a dual setup.
all im asking is if there is a site that has the N1 for around 200 shipped

im not trying to argue with anyone on here. but even though i have a domestic this is a JDM forum. and 2nd of all i already stated that flowmater and the like are baffeled mufflers which are more for sound then performance. borla does make a cat back, but 1 i dont want a catback i want a full exhust and 2 its a dual set up, i have an SE with a single exhust setup so going to a borla would make me have to buy a GT bumper 3 i dont want a dual setup b.c its extra wieght and it does nothing for performance. and thank you for finally answering my question that no1 knows where i can get an N1 for a good price.

dont mind him and getting a good muffler *flows do suck* will only be like 1-2 psi more backpressure so no biggy but if you want the Apexi N1 www.optauto.com
www.ebay.com
and try
