68 Rear Windows

The tiny rear windows on my 68 are just not being cooperative. They do go up and down but its like i have to put all of my strength into the handle to get them to move. and on the right one i think its misaligned because it looks like its pushed out a little bit and when i try to roll it down, the chrome weatherstripping divider between the windows falls off of the rear window. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 68 Rear Windows

you probably need to take a look and the rollers and the regulator. take off the door pannel and its all the stuff inside that make the window move. there should be a chanel that has little rollers on it that attach to the window. they could be shot and it would cause the window to sit funny and could cause problems rolling it up or down. just look at everything and make sure its not broken and make seure the reg is bolted up tight and not loose.

Urethane... if that's the way you want to go, it'll never come off.
