Real SS?

What is the best way to tell if my 68 is a real SS? I was told both that it was and it wasnt. I want to finally figure this out.

Re: Real SS?

well that sucks! alot of times you can
find the build sheet to the car under the
carpet, it may be in the front, or
it could be in the trunk.

Re: Real SS?

well i heard that SS's didnt come with 327's.....is that true?....There are SS emblems everywhere on the car. Everywhere they should be. If its fake someone sure took their time to make it into one.

Re: Real SS?

id say they are too, i'd say it is a SS and
the 327 ss is rare, worth $20-30,000
depending on its condition
