front license plate

does anyone know if it is legal to not have a front license plate nemore in OHIO???..if so just let me know, if u dont know dont worry about it...peace

who cares, most generally cops dont care, just keep your front plate in your car and if a cop ever says anything just pull it out and be like " ya i got it right here im waiting on a bracket to come in so i can mount it " and youll be fine..law or not its not a class 1 traffic offense so they cant pull you for JUST that and theres no point in junking up your front end with some prisoner crafts if you dont have to...ya know

Yes it's still required to have one on the front here in gay fucking Ohio. I've gotten away with not having one for about 2-3 years now, and if I got a $10 fix-it ticket I'd still think it's worth keeping it off so the car looks 100x better.

not worth all the hassle in my opinion.. maybe just pull it off for shows. but in the mean time why not just relocate the plate.. i think a relocated plate adds some style to the car..

washington and oregon. that's their new game plan, they can pull you over for anything like that and then see if you have any warrants or you're drunk or somethin'.

i second kicker - in MA i got pulled for that twice right when i went back to school in amherst, so i have to keep it on now. then again i received a $300 for blue turn signal bulbs in my m3 mirrors

maybe it's because of your car's appearance. back in the day when i had a ford contour i never had the front plate on and never got asked about it. i got pulled over in the first few weeks i had my accord though. it depends if police want to fuk with you or not, it's not really something they care about, but if they want to give you trouble all they need is a missing front plate, a burnt out turn signal, or they just want to check your tint...

yes, I completely agree, it does have a lot to do with my car's appearance. But they're still getting common cars for things like this, it's their new tactic to finding people with warrants and such.

.. first time i got flamed for the relocated plate ehh oh well.. i hear ya about the old holes from the plate, i need to pick up those color matched plugs from the dealer
