While driving my 92 cavalier it shuts off
I had this problem for about 2 months now and it's diving me nuts (no pun intended). My 1992 cavalier 4 cyclinder will just shut off at the drop of a hat but will always fire right back up right away. There is no signal that it is going to happen no stumbling no burping no anything. All fuel items have been taken care of, spark is taken care of, there are no codes present. I'm really fighting this one.........any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated. It's a 1992 4 cyclinder with 150,000 and it's an automatic.

Re: While driving my 92 cavalier it shuts off
possible loose connection or terminal with the battery or even a broken or nearly broken power or ground wire from the battery
