Re: interior vinyl

just clean the doors really well with soap and water, or rubbing alcohol. A clean surface is key to getting things to stick.

Re: interior vinyl

^^ the reason it didn't stick well is not because of the surface hygene, all though it is obviously better to clean the surface before you glue. but its because you used the 3m spray adhesive.. that stuff is not strong enough.

you need DAP contact cement. i bought some in a pint sized container and a 99cent brush and you just brush it on. used it to carpet my amp enclosure. its only been on for a few months but its tight as a .....ahhhh.. haha i'm not going to finish that sentance

ive got a question about vinyl but didn't feel that i should start a whole new thread for it.

Where did you get it at?

can you just get it at a local fabric store or what?

please help because im almost done with my box and i decided to vinyl it instead of painting it.

Re: interior vinyl

yup, you can go to your local fabric store. grab the yellow pages and look up fabrics if your not sure whats around you. a fabric warehouse will be cheaper than specialty shops and stuff tho.. just to warn you
