Why do you want a Civic when you have a 'teg Type R?

Anyway, which body style do like? (hatch vs. coupe vs. sedan)
5th gen vs. 6 gen vs... ?

Get the civic type r, then the si, but if you want a 4 door then get the lx. The ex is a common 2 door civic that a lot of people have, just don't get the dx.

If your from Canada then you can get the Civ SIR up there. But, the 7th gen [candian] SIR's are the same as the US EX. The 5th and/or 6th gen [canadian] SIR (correct me if I am wrong) are 160 HP with a B16 engine.

Which one should you get?

The one you want of course.

Look around for pics on this board. (use the search)

Also..i think there is an extensive Civic album somewhere's about here..PH member mATC has a good gallery.

Just..pick the one you want.

Also..if I was given a car I'd want the JDM Civic Type-R.

Also..I don't think you get CTRs in Calgary.

So..just go for what you originally wanted - an Integra Type-R.

Plus..by the time you start driving you can get an RSX Type-R

The EX version in Canada is the Si.

Canadian SiR for the 6th Gen. was like our 99-00 Si.

Canada didn't get a B16A powered 5th Gen. - just like us

I'm going strickly with the Integra Type R now.
That is why my name on AF Forums is Type R.

actually.. no they don't

ITR's in north america only have 195hp out of a VTEC 1.8. Even JDM ones only have 205hp.

RSX-R's (JDM ITRs) for 2002 have 220hp out of a new i-VTEC 2.0, not to mention they are a completely different car. And they aren't available in North America.

Damnit!
What the Hell.
The America downgrade the car or something?
Because in Japan it is 220 Horsepower for the Integra Type R
