4t65e tranny problems

Anyone else having problems with their 1998 Pontiac GTP, where the tranny doesn't drive forward or backwards in any gear after about 10 minutes of driving, let it cool down and the car drives fine for about another 10 minutes and the same problem repeats itself. Anyone have any suggestions of what the cause could be? Dealership says time for a new transmission but why does it work fine for the first 10 minutes until it warms up? first thing first : I always go to the dealer in canada and he/she will hookup my car with the hand held computer for free : if you sweet talk her, then he will tell you the problem code that comes up on the hand held computer : that's when you make sure you remember it and go to this great website called "google: and type it in there :
your problem is simple : Its a defective Pressure Control Selonoid. You have to change it and then make sure you get a tranny flush and filter replaced ...... whole deal with parts and labour should not cost you more than 300 dollars US$
With the rest of the money saved buy yourself a home theatre system.

This worked for you? Those symotoms aren't like other PCM probs, how hard is changing PCS? can it be done in driveway?
