Help w/ Mobile Video.

I just wanted to know if anyone could help me out, I have a few questions I'd like to know before I invest in a flipdown monitor for my 96 Blazer.

1.) What all else would need to be bought besides the monitor & wire?
2.) Can it be ran off of a PS2 and not a DVD player?
3.) How much is involved in the mounting and wire process?
4.) Would I need a seperate amp. or batt. to power the monitor?

Any other useful information would be great if anyone can help me out.

Thanks,
Hypnotized Mind

Re: Help w/ Mobile Video.

1. You will need some extra wire for power
video (RCA) cables
connectors

2. Yes it can be ran off of a PS2 but you will need a power inverter to power it

3. The mounting and wiring should be easy.

4. You wont need an amp to power the Tv but you will need one for sound.

If you have any other questions let me know

Flip down screen, do you mean one like this

that would be mounted to the ceiling? or where are you going to mount it at?
1. You will need some kind of source for the screen (dvd player, ps2, whatever), everything else will come with the screen (wires and such)
2. Yes, it can be ran off of a PS2, you will need a power inverter or something to plug the PS2 in for power, but yes, you can run the PS2 and that screen together. That's actually what I'm doing in my car right now, I will be switching to an in dash dvd player next week though.
3. Mounting shouldn't be too hard, depending on where you're going to mount it. The ceiling is usually where flip down screens go, it should come with the instructions that you need, but if not come back and ask any questions that you may have.
4. You don't need anything else to power it, it should have instructions with it and they'll tell you to run the power wire to your main battery under the hood.

and why was this moved here? lol
