Exclamation Test Drove New Colorado....

Just a quick Funny Story.. Yesterday My friend Brian and I went to the Local Chevy Dealer to Test drive a Colorado.. He is looking for a smaller truck because he lives in the city and commutes each day.. So the guy pulls the truck out of the security gate Spinning up the tires and has my friend jump in.. the truck has 4miles on it so far. I squeeze my 6'1 ass in the back jump seat and we are off.. The truck has no gas in it and it is riding like shit... meanwhile my friend is going about 45mph through Arlington with the salesman telling him to get on it and see what the truck can do ...
the truck is revving extremly high I look into the front cab to see what gear hes in and notice the transfer case is in 4wheel low... so trying to contain my laughter I slowly utter "YOu Might want to take it out of four wheel drive" then the guy being totally embarassed has my friend swing over to the side of the road and he starts pushing the 4wd buttons.. I try telling him to shift out of 4w Low you need to have the truck rolling and he says im wrong and keeps trying for a couple of mins... soon he pulls the manual out of the glove box and reading aloud says have the truck going 1-2mph while trying to shift from 4w low.. We pull the truck back in and it smells like something is on fire... Needless to say hes not buying from that dealership and I feel bad for whoever gets that Colorado he test drove...

Sounds like the typical car salesman that think they know more than the customer.

I went to Scooby dealership with one of my buds to look at the new WRXs. The salesman popped the hood on the showroom model and said, "Look at the size of THAT turbo!". Unfortunately, he was pointing at the top mount intercooler...

Re: Test Drove New Colorado....

I swear, the qualifications for that job must be breathing...........lol. Car salesmen are stupid. You know who else i hate? Those dumb punk kids that work at walmart tire centers, and Jiffy lubes, etc. I'm glad i got a pal that works at firestone, Plus i do my own oil changes.

Re: Test Drove New Colorado....

A friend of mine owns his own Tire Company, he does Mostly 18 wheelers and service calls but I dont let anyone else touch my ride.. Ive heard too many storys about Wal-Mart leaving lug nuts loose and crappy lube joints not filling the oil and leaving the plug out.. I do all my own work and leave the wheels and front end to my buddy.

Re: Test Drove New Colorado....

I almost forgot the salesman we had Sold knifes for a year so that basically qualifies him to sell automobiles.. I think car salesmen are professional jerk-offs.
