Question bogging down

I have a 1996 blazer, and have a hard time starting it, and it also bogs down when I accellerate. I have a handheld pda that I can use as a scanner, but I don't know what to look for, or what values that I'm looking for. I would appreciate it if you could help me with this situation, as it's beginning to drive me crazy.

have you tried a full tune up?? and your local garage or chevy dealer might be able to give you the specs for all of the readings.

You might want to look into 2 different things. Either the cat or egr valve. A tune up wouldn't hurt I agree. If your engine can't breath it won't run. When you ran your scanner did you find find any DTCs?
