save it as a jpg to start with this will help alot, then i usually just convert it to a smaller size thru somthing like photoshop (i dunno, it might do it) or through a image resizing program, there are lots of trial ones at download.com, i dunno if there are any free ones though...
if you find a program that can resize instead of just cropping it like windows paint then just try somthing like dividing the dimensions by half or 1/3. hope this helps.

Hi Adge,

You might want to turn on your private messaging (PM).

Click on your User CP and go to options:

Enable Private Messaging? (check this).

If you have windows 2000 you have Microsoft Photo Editor.
XP probably has it too

You can resize your image under /image/resize.

Right click on your image choose "open with" select "other" and look for MicroSoft Photo Editor.

Take care

Alfred
