Cruise Control?

Just wondering if there is any way to add cruise control to an automatic car....Seems like I've heard of it before but I can't be sure. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Cruise Control?

Dude - it shouldn't really matter...but the pedal assembly is the biggest issue..it has switches and extra connectors on it to turn off the cruise when you hit the brake or clutch, and also the extra gas pedal cable to push (actually it pulls) the pedal down for you when the cruise is on.
Here is a link for grabbing the cruise control system from an LX or EX. - http://tjshondas.20m.com/cruise.html

I would just try to pull it off an automatic and you should be set. It took me all afternoon to get these parts...the pedal assembly doesn't come out real easy unless you pull the dash out too so you can get to all 9 or 10 bolts holding that bitch to the firewall. - The next hardest will be the wiring into the car. That will be a nightmare..me and my Helm's manual are gonna get real cozy for that one
