sooo bummed..

don't think i will be able to finish my car... i just don't have the money for it, its gonna take like 7k min. to get it done right, and at 16 i just can't do it, i just can't.

it just hit me that i can't do this, theres so way, i just can't afford it. god, this is just like everything else in the world, you get so close to something before it gets riped away, and i'm just about sick of it. i spent the last couple of years of my life just living for my car, and no i know that i can't have it. even if i do finish her i will never beable to afford the insurance/gas.. god i'm so sick of this... if i have to sell her (which i dunno what i'll do) i'll have to get a 5.0 i guess... man.. god damnit.. i don't know what to do.

yeah man i'm 16 too.. i faced that early in life with my civic... so i'm gonna stick to a civ until i get 50k or so ( yeah i know, its a long shot) for my Inf. G35. But save the money u get on top of the 5.0 and invest it so u can get the car faster...

i agree. Tacoma man you do realise you're posting in a mustang forum??? i mean damn thats pretty cold not to mention totally unnecessary and irrelevant to the topic.

Rerun, work for it and keep the 67 mustang, that thing is a thing of beauty when fully restored. Just coz you don't have the cash for it now then store it if you can and buy something cheaper for the time being. 16 is sooooo young, damn if i had a 67 mustang in any condition when i was 16 i'd be the happiest man out there even if i had to take the bus to work for a few years because i know that in the end when its all done and i finally build it, it will be the sweetest thing out there. This may sound mean but, the sacrifices you make now will only make you love your car and appreciate more in future when you do finally get it done trust me on this ask your parents if they'll let you store it with em and buy another car for now as i suggested.... good luck bro.

Re: sooo bummed..

oh yeah baby, now thats the spirit you know what you should do, you should go and get yourself a poster of a 1967 mustang and hang it on your wall as a reminder of what the possibilities are for your car. Thats way you'll always just look at the poster whenever you're feeling down and you'll realise why its worth stickin to
