Question 5 speed to 6 speed

hey everybody, im 17 and dont even have my license, but i fell in love with the GTO while i lived in japan and have been learning about them ever since.
so my question is this, how hard would it be to switch out the 5 speed in the '93 and before, with the 6 speed in all the rest? would it be practical? any ideas would be appreciated.
P.S. im talking about a vr-4

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

thanks for the info but $2000 for all the stuff is not going to happen, plus i could just buy the '94 or newer for less overall... but that still leaves me with coming up with at least $8,000 for the car...
