the warning sound is gone

For some reason the warning sound that always came when there was an open door or if I was running out of gas is gone. Now it only comes if I leave the keys in the switch or leave the lights on. Dos someone know what’s wrong and how I can fix this?

you didn't, by any chance, replace the stock radio, did you? GM does some weird stuff by having the stock radio connected to other electronics in the car, such as the chime. I replaced my stock radio and lost the chime completely as a result (i have a chevy malibu).

good job GM
