98 Cobra Speedo Cluster..HELP PLEASE...
I have a Cobra that some knucklehead replaced with a GT cluster. I haven ow ordered the proper cluster. I need to know if there is anything to do other than simply swap it out. Does Ford have to do something to get it going to prevent odometer fraud?

Your new cluster will probably some with an odometer reset disclaimer sticker, so it will keep the reading legal.

The odometer I am getting is used, and ironically has 62k on it which is what my car really has on it. I am just wondering if it will work when I put it in, or does Ford have some kind of computerized security that would prevent the replacement for cases where it is replaced with a lower mileage odometer.
