cams

i have a 90 supra turbo and my valve covers are leakin. so i thought while i was around that area to swap out the turbo cams for the n.a cams. ive heard of around 30hp gains. what does anyone else have to say about this swap , good or no. plus im getting these cams for free so thats why im planing on the swap. thanks.

30hp gains That number is from the same people who felt a "HUGE" difference when they installed their 89+ n/a cams. Just the intake cam on the 86.5-88 n/a is different, all your going to do is move the powerband around. If your getting them for free, and you already have the head apart, and you feel like re-shimming the valves then I'd say why not.

so are u saying that by switching these cams im really just doing nuthing or what. and im not sure what year these cams are coming off of just know its a mk3. ill check up on it tho.
