You sure its not your radiator fan? Them will sometimes stay on for a little while after engine shut off.

radiator fan...welll.i'm not sure....its a "hmmmmmm" sound.... sound more like a motor to me then a fan..but i have no problems with the car... and i only get this sound when i drive for a while...

shoulnd't be a timing belt issues right? i change it 3 years ago...
i just hope its not something big... the noise doen's bother me...since i not standing around after i turn engine off anywayss....

should i bring it to a mechanic...i just dont' want them to rape me for soemthing stupid.

my 1996 accord does the same thing and it is the radiator fan, it still just doesnt seem right to me though...it started doin it almost immediately after i put on a cold air intake, so why is my radiator fan tryin to cool down my engine if i have a COLD air intake? im at 102,000 miles and need a timing belt and water pump replace so i think i will ask about it then...

Re: motor sound after engine turn off

radiator fan .. and your engine still gets mega hot with a cold air intake. In fact, the coolant/engine stays the same temp. The intake charge is often just about 10 degrees cooler than regular, and by the time it reaches in the engine, since the intake manifold is heated by coolant and the cylinder head ..... is well over 100 degrees.
