whats the best kind of turbo???

i am going to purchase a 1990 integra ls and i am going to put in a gs-r motor in it. i was wondering what the highest amount of boost that the internals on that engine can take without blowing up the engine. And also, what is the best kind of turbo, like highest quality that you can get??? thank you for the help

8PSI Is the general rule for a stock B series engine.

8psi is the rule for the gsr, not the ls. I have seen (or seen the slips) gsr's tuned well enough to handle 10psi, but I wouldnt recomend it unless you have a good tuner near by. I would say go 8psi, that is well tuned as well. turn it down to 6psi when just cruzing then 8 for the occasional race, or track. On an ls you can handle more boost due to low compression pistons. The ls can handle 12psi safely with a pretty good tune, probably a bit higher, but again only if you have a hella good tune. Some of those kits are alright, but I would say get a custom turbo.
