2001 suburban tail/brake/turn lights?

when i press on the brake the turn lights come on solid and the brake lights are dim. when i have the turn signals on and press on the brake the top roof brake like blinks as if signaling. when the lights come on automatically at night and i press on the brake i have no brake lights. so pretty much what i'm saying is that my lighting system is all messed up. of course the warranty just went up and the dealer hasn't diagnosed the problem. any help? please respond. Thank you.

I fixed my problems by replacing the taillight wire harness. My symptoms were blowing out the fuse when the backup lights went on and rapid blinker sound when using the turn signal. Strangely, it didn't act up when I had a trailer hooked up.

Question

Not sure if this will help, but check ALL of your ground wires and connections. Check where the wires are grounded to the body. Remove the screw and check for rust or ?. Bad grounds are 90% of our problems on our fire trucks etc. Hope this helps.
