i'v got........

how's it dudes
i'm new to this but have really got the itch to mod i'v done a little homework but i'm stil not the sharpest tool in the shed so basicly i'm after alittle help from the people that have done it what i'm after is a street/strip car with standard internals (cams ect) i would like to max the car without putting to much strain on everything else.

i'v worked hard and saved up $4000 nz dollars i know it's ot much but hay gotta start somewhere aye? i'v done the 3" exhaust and a pod filter gonna rip out the cat back as the exhaust was 2nd hand specking of which has any1 done that hea is it easy?
i'v found a intercooler 650x350x100 for 5spot (new) and i'll get a new fuel pump i heard you could remap the ecu fuel to pump out 450hp saving you from having to upgrade or piggie bank the system is that true? & what's your throughts like would it be wiser to buy a apex comp or hiltec or somthing sim????

are the ngk platinum 8s spark plug's really the way to go??
this guy at mag in turbo reckon's triple platinum plugs are the shit t/f??

also i'm thinking of a inboard 2stage boost controller so when its set i can flick the switch and have full boost is the turbosmart model the way to go?

without 4getting that 4g's is all i'v got what else would you do?
also afew months back in the performance car mag there was a31 cefiro with a rb25det in it where the exhaust exit's into the intercooler he had the piping running to the left (looking front on) instead of the right over the hole engine saving ahell of a lota space where would 1find something sim in akl nz????

Your user name is very fitting.

Two things:
WE NEED TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT SORT OF SKYLINE IT IS!

and
NEVER ever listen to anyone from Mag and Turbo.
Iv never heard any good advice come from anyone who works there, while they have been at work.

Re: i'v got........

Ok, thats better, but please stick to useing the English language, and not some ghetto speak.
You live in Aotearoa, not downtown LA.

Now, forget the Platnium spark plugs, there is no performance gain to be had from them.
A bigger fuel pump will only be of use if your engine needs more fuel, given you don't want to do any internal mods you won't be able to run enough boost to need it.
An ECU remap can help, but thats only if you have changed anything major (like the Turbo and or Cams) or there is something wrong with the stock Map. From what I know of the R33 skylines the stock ECU is already pretty damn good, and there is little you can do to improve on it, and it only needs remapping or replacing you modify the engine beyond what the ECU can manage. In your case I doubt that will happen.

Now, there are already plenty of threads regarding mods to the GTS25t, I suggest you have a good search of the forums, and then come back and ask any questions you might have.
