white gauges

is it easy to put white gauges on my car myself, or should i pay the local race shop to do it?

Re: white gauges

I would have a pro do it.. specially when your messin' around with takin the gauges apart.. If you dont get the needles back precisly, or if you arent careful enough takin em' off or puttin em' on, it throws your gauges outta wack... Trust me.. I learned the hard way.. I made my own custom gauges.. But it took me a long time so I had my guages out for a couple months.. Now I got a tach that reads 2500rpm at idle, a battery gauge that constantly reads 8volts, and a speedo that says im doin 10mph in park! lol ive got a little playin to do ta get em' back close to where their sposda be..

Ive seen some aftermarket gauges that clame you dont have to take the needles off.. but I dont know?
