Saleen transmission
A friend of mine has a 2002 Saleen S-281. He is bring the car to a shop tomarrow to have the motor built up and put the kennebell stage V supercharger put on. He doesn't know what transmission came stock with the car and if it will hold up long with the new engine combo. He was told when the car is done the engine will put out between 500-550 hp. Any info would be appreciated thanks.

I believe (don't take my word for it) that the Saleen uses the same transmission as a GT. Which would be a TR-3650, which has a torque rating of 360 lb/ft. There is one 3650 which has a torque rating of 390 lb/ft though. Sorry.
