Is it worth saving the money and hastle and getting a 330Ci over a M3?

Just wondering...considering that the new M3 model seems to have transmission problems and is VERY EXP... IF you can find one!

What are your thoughts?

dude...I love the M3....in love with it literally...

but I dont think I would want the SMG...I wouldnt race it...and I dont wanna lose the fun in actually using the knob to shift!

My friend and I talked about this a few days ago. Here's the basic prices for metallic paint + black leather and no options. (bmwusa.com)

• 330Ci = USD $37,560
• M3 = USD $48,120

Okay, about a little more than a $10k difference. So ask yourself, am I gonna spend over $10k on mods?!? Some of the things can get very expensive; ie, nice rims, supercharger, front bumper, etc... Also ask yourself, even if I do get the M3, will I still mod it, like most people do?!?

In the end, we decided on M3 stock.

Btw, you're in the same boat as I am: driving a '91 Accord, but lusting over BMWs.
