hey guys.
i have 95 rs with a manual tranny. i went to the dealership and they told me that i have a leaking head gasket. it is leaking oil..........how hard is it to fix it myself? how long does it take. and how espensive would it be to get it fixed if i went elsewhere to fix it? ( not the dealer) thanks.....any help is appreciated. |

Re: leaking head gasket
do a search on yahoo or something for like eclipse head gasket or somethin itll pop up somewere that gots em. you can figure out then what the gasket set will cost if you diy. yeah it would be cheaper to diy but iv never taken the head off my 420a so i dont know the time or dificulty factor. If you have it done check around town for prices. the dealer is probally highest from my experience.

Re: leaking head gasket
if thats the case call Mitsu and ask them, if there was, have your VIN # ready and ask them to check if it was performed on your car!!!
