Re: bad brake vacuum booster?

2 problems here...easy one first.
The air noise you hear from the brake pedal area is the sign of a booster leaking vacum

Mushy pedal.
Your truck is equipped with ABS...the ABS module will trap air internally...the bleed procedure is rather lengthy and you will need some GM special tools and a bi-directional scan tool to perform the bleed procedure correctly

changed the brake vacuum booster and bled the brakes again. Seems like it fixed both problems: air noise gone and brakes feel alot firmer.Should i still have the abs module bleed done at the dealer?
Thanks .
