Recommendations?

I have an 89 Civic Hatch dx... I've already hooked the outside up with some extras like z3 fenders, clears, shaved bodylines, and paint + a few other things.... I turned my attention to the motor and put did a d16z6 head swap/obd0-1 swap ... I have exhaust and a cold air intake and a header is on the way...

Can you guys recommend me where to go next? Turbo would be nice but at my current budget would take me a long time to save for...

Should I save anyways or turn my attention to other things ?

I have my eye on stuff like AEM Fuel Rail/Cam Gear, ZEX Cam, Venom Injectors, a better ported intake manifold maybe skunk2, and a VTEC AFC Controller from Apexi which I all want to do to my car sometime... and could be buying now as opposed to a long time later going for a turbo.... What do you think I should do?

Re: Recommendations?

AEM Fuel Rail=pointless w/o 300+hp
Cam Gear & ZEX Cam = good combo w/ dyno tunning
Venom Injectors = pointless
a better ported intake manifold maybe skunk2=IMO, port the stock one, some argue it is better than the D16Y8 manifold (generally recognized as the best)
V-AFC=excellent option w/dyno tuning

though, turbo>*

Besides the cam/cam gear combo & V-AFC, is there anything else that doesnt cost a large amount like turbo that you could recommend... Turbo is in the plans, its just a ways away unless I run into some money

I think I"ll start on those 2 mods soon as theres a good performance place with dyno very close and I'm already friends with the workers/owner

If yo udont want to save a long time for a turbo, you could save for a supercharger, it about 800 dollars cheaper. Or you could go with a home made turbo, which a lot of people on here would recomend

Re: Recommendations?

The supercharger kit costs more than the budget kits from what I have seen.
