Question Kenwood KDC-MP522

My son owns a 1994 Camaro Z28. I took the Kenwood unit out of a 1998 Chevy Malibu. When I put it in the Camaro the unit powers on, the volume level changes, stations change, but no sound out of speakers. I checked my wiring on the adapter and it is wired correctly. I also checked a wiring diagram of the car and the wires of the car do match the wiring of the adapter. Does anyone have any ideas?
