Salvaged Title

Hi, I am selling my 1997 Volkswagon Cabrio and it's in great shape. The only thing is that the title is salvaged. I bought it in 1998...the original owner totalled the car and some car dealer decided he could fix it and re-sell it. The car hasn't given me one problem since I've had it...it's been wonderful, really. So someone came today and gave me a deposit on it...they took it to their mechanic and he said the car was in great condition. I didn't disclose to them that the title is salvaged...what do I do?!?!? Help!

One more thing...

I forgot to mention that I do have the car priced $2000 below BB value b/c of the status of the title...

Re: Salvaged Title

Who cares? They are going to figure it out when they see the title anyway. If they like the car they will still take it, especially with a mechanic's recommendation. If they are that worried, why are they bothering with a Rabbit-based vehicle anyway?

For what it is worth, I am buying a salvage title Cabriolet. It needs lots of work, but the price is right.....well, for now at least until I find out what else is wrong! :P
