Brake lights don't work and blinkers turn solid???

Could someone tell me why my brake lights recently are working intermittently? When they don't work, my turn signals turn solid as if they were replacing my brake lights. They have been working less and less as time goes by. Does anyone know what might cause this??

It sounds like a bad ground. Check the connectors at the tail lights for corrosion.
