My friend is the LUCKIES guy in the world!
My friend was looking to buy a Type R! So about 5 days ago we were driving around and we saw one in a driveway (in a nice neighborhood) and it had the FOR SALE sign...so right away we got out of the car went to check it out and this old man came out and said "you boys like this car" and we started talking. The man said it was his son's and his son just bought a Escalade
 ...the guy then said that his son left the car to him...he could do anything he wants to with it, so the guy is selling it for 6K and it only has 38K on it   ...me and my friend stood stunned for a minuted and we didn't even try to negotiate ...we came back the next day did all the paper work and what not and drove away with it. The car is bone stock, its a 2000 Type R with 38K on it. I still can't believe it....that lucky bastard!!!!

ya, are you sure that it wasn't just a gsr made up to look like a type R. Even still that is a great price for a gsr. Props to your friend! does it have a clean title? Could have been wrecked then fixed. I have seen ones like that go for like 10k but never 6k.

hehe...damn ya'll chill, i see that ya'll dont believe me and i understand because its unbelievable. I'll try to get pictures up and YES it is a Type R...a real TYPE R. like i said its a 2000 so its NEW...interior clean, exterior beautiful (its yellow) and the engine bay...is clean as hell. I hope he burns in hell too...hehe
