nissan fuel and temp guages not working

I (actually my 16 year old son) have a problem with a 1991 Nissan King Cab XE pickup. The fuel and temp guages only intermittantly function and I cannot find a fuse or relay that is blown. Has anyone seen this problem before? Thanks, ..T

I have seen this problem before, and its simple to fix, just look at you wires again, make sure you did not cross any of them, the fuse is fine you just need to make sure of that one thing, disconect them, and reconect them again....and make sure hey are on!

There's possibly an easier way, instead of having to get underneath the dash and locate the wires. Just disconnect the negative battery cable. It also resets the onboad computer to the original settings.

sorry mate, im gona have to dissagree, by disconecting the negative on the battery ur only reseting the system, if he has cross over wires, he might actually blow the fuse by reseting it, trust me..there is no easy way out of this, ur gona need some time and soem patiance..ur goan need to get under the dash and dind the little guys...chek em all..reconect them..and ur good to go..if it dosent work afta that, then yu know u have a blown fuse..just replace it and everything will be ok
